Introduction
In August 2007, we explored Wuhou Temple, which is in the middle of Chengdu. The gardens are beautiful and lush with cypress trees and bamboo throughout the grounds of this peaceful place built to honor leaders from dynasties many years ago. We also enjoyed some tea here while watching a courtyard of mahjongg players and a small kid with typical 'hole-in-the-pants' clothing to completely avoid having to worry about diapers. Next to Wuhou Temple, is JinLi Street, which is packed with Chinese tourists enjoying the ambience of a street of restaurants and shops reconstructed in ancient Chinese architecture style.
